See your car at the British International Motor Show

20 March 2008

The British International Motor Show is offering a once in a lifetime chance for your car to be exhibited at this year’s show alongside some of the greatest names in motoring.

To get on to the ‘Wall of Fame’ and to be in with a chance of seeing your car at the show, send a photograph of you and your car to mycaristhestar@britishmotorshow.co.uk and submit 150 words on what your car means to you and why it should be displayed at the show. No matter what make, age and condition we all have a story to tell about our car.

When submitting your entry, consider why you love your car. Think about what experiences and adventures you’ve shared. Why it turns you on (or others for that matter!) Why you chose it. What makes it special? Have you made any special modifications? How has your car enhanced your life? Do you have a name for your car? Have you owned your car all of your life? Did you buy it from someone famous? Is it unique?

Whether you’ve had a life-changing moment in your car such as delivering a baby on the back seat or just appreciate your car for the little things such as keeping you warm on winter’s day, we want to hear from everyone, no matter what the story is.

Organisers will also pick one lucky person to win the ultimate prize of taking their car to the show for real and placing it on their own, dedicated spot.

Marketing Director Kirsty Perkinson said, “We’re celebrating the bond we all have with our cars and we want to hear from you. We want to hear why you love your car and why we should feature your car and its story at the Show. Whether your car is your life-line

to the world, your daily run around, your chariot, your taxi for the family, your mobile office or a stylish mean machine, we want to hear your story and get your photograph up on the wall of fame.”
