Nordam shuffles divisions, execs

Tulsa-based Nordam
Group, the privately held
aerospace company, has consolidated its original equipment manufacturing operations under veteran executive
Steve Pack, company officials
said.

In a separate announcement, Nordam has named
Marc Overton as vice president of Business Aviation
Sales.

Pack, who has been general manager of Nordam’s Nacelle and Thrust Reverser
Systems Division and a Nordam executive for 11 years,
will serve as senior vice president of OEM Manufacturing.

Pack will report to CEO and
Chairman Ken Lackey.

“Our manufacturing business is continuing to grow at
a healthy pace, and we can
raise our level of efficiency by unifying our customer strategy, management, services
and communications,” Lackey said in a prepared statement.

“Steve has the experience
and leadership to steer best
practices throughout our entire OEM organization and
capitalize on these operational advantages. Ultimately, we
are creating better service for
our customers.”

In his new position, Pack
will assume operational leadership for the Nacelle and
Thrust Reverser Systems Division at 6910 N. Whirlpool
Drive in the Cherokee Industrial Park.

Pack also will oversee operations of Nordam’s Interiors
and Structures Division, 6911
N. Whirlpool Drive, as well as
its 120,000-square-foot executive aircraft cabinetry division
that employs 170 people in
Wichita.

The two Tulsa divisions employ 1,086 people. They
certify, design and manufacture integrated propulsion
systems, nacelles and thrust
reversers; composite and metallic aircraft structures; interior shells; custom cabinetry;
radomes and aircraft cabin
windows; wing tip lenses; and
simulator screens.

A 30-year aerospace industry veteran, Pack has worked
for General Electric Co., Pratt
& Whitney, Citibank Credit Card Rockwell International and McDonnell Douglas. He …continue reading
